With the theme of "New Tech Smart Future", the 83rd China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) took place at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from 19th to 22nd October, 2020. Shanghai Kangda Medical Equipment Group Co., Ltd. and the Central Academe, two components of Shanghai Electric, brought over 40 medical devices to the fair. This is the first time Shanghai Electric presents an extensive exhibition of its medical research achievements after the COVID-19 outbreak. Mr. Gu Zhiqiang, Vice President of Shanghai Electric and Chairman of Kangda Medical Equipment, attended the new product launch ceremony.
Products in seven categories encompassing large radiation, general radiation, ultrasound, dental, C-arm, medical robots, and radiotherapy are showcased, and they are used for medical imaging, dental care, atomic medicine and cancer treatment, and medical service by robots. The newly-developed Apsaras 128 CT and Apsaras 1.5T Spark M.R.I. attracted the most eyeballs. With integrated image detection of brain, heart, lung, liver, kidney, blood vessel, and other organs, Apsaras 128 CT can minimize patient stay in the CT room, and its built-in AI diagnosis system can take the pressure off doctors and decrease error rate with less manual operation. Together, it will deliver an optimized imaging diagnosis. Powered by four AI technologies, Apsaras 1.5T Spark M.R.I. takes intelligent, precision, efficient, and convenient diagnosis to the next level. It also comes with China's only fully-capable AI platform among all peer products.
Kangda also brought the on-board CT that impressed many in the COVID-19 fight, as well as the well-received Apsaras ultra-wide dental CT, US-10 Color Doppler Ultrasound, Buffalo exoskeleton robot, and smart rehabilitation robot.
First launched in 1979, CMEF is a world-leading integrated exposition of medical equipment. This year, over 4,200 medical equipment players, both domestic and abroad, brought over 30,000 medical products to the fair covering more than 220,000 m2.
