Shanghai Turbine Works ("Shanghai Turbine") has recently been announced by the Shanghai Municipal Government as the only winner of the "2019 Shanghai Mayor Quality Award". It is the fifth company within the group to take home the honor.

Shanghai Mayor Quality Award, the highest quality honor established by the Shanghai Municipal Government, acknowledges organizations that play a leading role in Shanghai and China in terms of quality management, independent innovation, economic benefits, and social responsibility, and individuals who stand out in quality work and make outstanding contributions to economic and social development in Shanghai. The number of winners in each category is no more than two every year. Shanghai Turbine is the fifth winner in the group, following Highly Group (2009), Shanghai Boiler Works (2010), Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator (2014), and Generator Plant (2016).
