Biomass Gasification Fuel-gas Deep Purification System
To orderly remove the three major pollutants, fly ash, tar and water, in biomass gasification fuel-gas,we developed the synergistic removal process of fly ash and tar based on the dry-wet combination technology, as well as the deep purification of multi-stage tar removal based on dew point control theory. A new absorbent with high regeneration efficiency is developed and used to remove different kinds of tar sequentially according to reasonable control of dew point temperature. Modular desulfurization and dechlorination can be employed to meet specific requirements for pollutants.

Different from the water washing solutions used in current biomass gasification plants, we developed the deep purification system based on dew point control theory which does not require alarge wastewater pool or sewage treatment system to meet the increasingly stringent environmental requirement. The system is especially suitable for applications requiring high gas quality and high value-added downstream production, such as power generation, methanation/hydrogen production, and advanced biofuels.
