Recently, the first wind turbine was successfully hoisted for Rudong H8 Offshore Wind Farm in Jiangsu Province. The wind farm is a demonstration medium and long-range project presented by Shanghai Electric and China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN). A detailed plan was made on site to install the 4.0 wind turbine from Shanghai Electric weighing 210 tonnes (cabin + hub) during the short weather window.
