On October 22, Shanghai Electric (Anhui) Energy Storage Co., Ltd. came on stream at Anhui Chaohu Economic Development Zone. The newly-built plant is equipped with automated production lines for manufacturing flow energy-storage cells at a design capacity of 200MW/1GWH.

The Shanghai Electric-invested platform will provide customers with green, economic, and efficient energy storage equipment and solutions. The company offers energy storage products like flow and li-ion cells. With proprietary battery and system technologies, it is recognized as a domestic leader in safe, stable, reliable cells, battery system control, and O&Ms.
