On September 16, the list of Top 100 China Machinery Industry Companies was released in Chongqing. Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation again held the third place with a business revenue of 141,727 million yuan.

The top 100 companies were selected and ranked by the China Machinery Industry Federation after a comprehensive evaluation of main statistical indicators. The list aims to cultivate competitive global leaders through accelerated industrial transformation and new drivers and promote overall quality development. Last year, Shanghai Electric hit new records of revenue, net profit, and new orders through double-digit growth. Through the digital and intelligent transformation of traditional industries to serve global customers, Shanghai Electric has grown more competitive in all aspects and gained new impetus for sustainable, healthy development.

All listed companies have demonstrated outstanding performance in structural adjustment, transformation, and efficiency and quality improvement. They are also important pillars to support the sustainable, stable, and healthy development of the machinery industry. This year, a total of 39 companies registered a revenue of over 10 billion yuan, 7 over 50 billion yuan, and 3 over 100 billion yuan.
