AP1000 Demonstration Projects
Haiyang and Sanmen are the first batch of nuclear power plants equipped with the third-generation advanced pressurized water reactors. The installed capacity of one unit is 1,250 MW.
Except reactor coolant pumps, KSB provides nuclear safety class residual heat removal pumps to Sanmen and Haiyang. In addition, itsupplies condensate pumps, low pressure heater drain pumps and service pumps to Haiyang.
KSB has provided residual heat removal pumps to world's first AP1000 reactor - Sanmen.
KSB’s advanced technical concepts and design capability, as well as the safe, efficient and reliable operating performance of similar products, are the key reasons why it secured the residual heat removal pump contract for world’s first AP1000 project.
