Since the pandemic began, Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator has exerted all efforts to contain the virus and boost growth. By addressing challenges and difficulties in restoring production capacity, it has fully resumed its pre-pandemic output after filling gaps and increasing its yield, and hence is able to trial-produce new products and deliver major orders.

As Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator’s flagship platform characterized by smartness, security and efficiency, LEHY-Pro is able to increase the elevator’s capacity by raising its rated load and speed. Its “efficient mode”, a standard configuration, ensures the efficient operation of elevators employed in the building through strong technical support. Furthermore, it supports smart customization and a number of smart functions, such as the smart interactive App, smart car and smart surveillance. To gain more trust from users, it is included in the contract that a 10-year extended warranty is provided for the 5 main parts.

Leng Weiqing said at the ceremony that with today as a new start, Shanghai Electric will continue to support Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator with utmost efforts to ensure a smooth delivery to Arcplus Group PLC, stronger competitiveness of the product and high-quality services provided. Looking forward, Shanghai Electric would like to collaborate with Arcplus Group PLC in leveraging good properties passed down by CPC members who fought in the Chinese revolution, implementing national strategies, seeking innovation-driven development, exploring markets, and carrying out more projects together.

Built in 1998, the Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design Building used GPS-II elevators made by the Japanese company Mitsubishi Electric for 23 years. As the building changes its functions, the elevator became extremely crowded, which was fueled by aging parts and busy operation. The updated plan formulated by Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator realizes upgrading in parallel with normal operation, which is demanded by the building, and moreover, increases the elevator’s working efficiency through smart empowerment.

Leng Weiqing, Gu Weihua and Shu Zhenghong visited Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator’s testing tower, manufacturing workshop and show room, and Leng Weiqing had a meeting with members of the company’s Party Committee where a presentation about current work was made.

Wan Zhongpei, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator, attended the events mentioned above.
