Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co.,Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “CJV”) is a joint venture established by Shanghai Electric and BrightSource. It is committed to development and application of concentrated solar power (“CSP”) technology. CJV extends its business based on the equipment manufacturing, financial leasing, engineering construction capability of Shanghai Electric and the reliable core CSP technology and successful project experience of BrightSource. CJV devotes itself to become a technical engineering and service company to achieve its own value by doing various projects.
(1) Heliostat: Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co.,Ltd. designs and manufactures small heliostats. Small heliostats offer more design flexibility, better layout optimization and reduced statistical aiming errors. The heliostat designed by Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co.,Ltd has the characteristics of low operating power consumption, high surface accuracy, high tracking accuracy, and short installation and debugging cycle.
(2) Molten Salt Receiver: relying on BrightSource's world-leading CSP technology and its actual operation experience of commercial power station, Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co., Ltd. can develop and produce different grades of hydraulic engineering according to different design and operation requirements. (3) Thermal storage system / heat exchange equipment: The molten salt heat storage system solution provided by Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co., Ltd. can customize storage tanks with different heat storage time according to customer needs. Shanghai Electric produces steam generators and various heat exchange equipment for CSP power stations.
(4) Mirror field synthesis/control system: Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co., Ltd. provides a dedicated integrated control system for solat field. Tens of thousands of mirrors track the sun's position in two directions and focus the sun on the tower.
(5) Power plant configuration/performance model equipment: Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co., Ltd. provides design of thermal balance/operation parameters of CSP power station, design of Molten Salt Receiver, heat storage system, power station configuration and operation optimization strategy, solar field layout, core technologies such as performance and output models.
