Moisture Separator Reheater
Moisture Separator Reheater（MSR）is special equipment of nuclear power plant conventional island, and it is very important to the safety and efficiency of the turbine. The main function of MSR is to remove the moisture from cycle steam, raise the temperature of cycle steam and superheat the cycle steam. MSR can improve the working condition of turbine, increase thermal efficiency by removing moisture, reheating cycle steam and protect the blade from errosion due to wet steam.

    Products are used in Yang Jiang 1000MW, Fang Cheng Gang 1000MW, Pakistan Karachi 1000MW, Qinshan phase Ⅱ 600MW, Qinshan phase Ⅰ300MW, Pakistan Chashma 300MW nuclear power plant.

Our company has already achieved major breakthrough in design of property、structure、 strength and so on by national significant project research. Then our company has the capability to design independently, and also has a lot of experience to design and manufacture MSR for large power plants. The history of MSR is form technology import to cooperate with foreign company, and in the end our company can design and manufacture by ourselves. It makes us competitive in MSR field.

Using efficient chevron vanes, "V"arrangement，dryness of steam is more than 99% after separation.

Reheater takes "double bundles" arrangement to simplify system configuration.

Reheater takes four-flow-path bundles with exhausting process to avoid subcooling.

Reheater takes flex shroud plates to avoid distortion due to thermal expansion.

The grid frame is used to protect the bundles from vibration damage; Manway is used in shell and bundles for maintenance.
