HPR1000 is an advanced 1000 MW pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology developed based on more than 30 years of nuclear power scientific research, design, manufacturing, construction and operating experience in our country and according to Fukushima nuclear power station accident experience feedback and the latest safety requirements in our country and in the world. In the aspects of design and innovation, the concept of the safety design combining active feature with passive one has been put forward, the 177-assembly core, multiple redundant safety system and singly arranged dual containment are adopted, which implement the defence-in-depth design principle in an all-round and balanced way, possessing complete independent intellectual property rights.
In the course of manufacturing, according to broad baffle’s configuration, a set of special tooling and a unique planing method are independently designed and developed, achieving high quality baffle machining; auxiliary devices for IGA precision welding and precision finishing have been independently designed, improving the accuracy grade of IGA precision parts’ machining, assembling and welding; and special trepanning machine that supports machining of large bore on such large forgings as core support plate and etc. has been developed, which effectively raises machining efficiency and ensure parts accuracy; the edge rolling process of barrel is optimized, more reasonable means of machining and set-up method have been adopted and the examination method by laser tracker is introduced, improving the overall quality of barrel; as the supporting auxiliary measures, IGA complex parts heat treatment tooling and set-up manner are equipped, getting base plate’s deformation that is better than technical requirements.
