Huaiyuan County is located in the northwest of Bengbu City. The 16 townships and two provincial villages under the jurisdiction of the county are geographically dispersed, resulting in an unsatisfactory collection and treatment of sewage. By adopting Shanghai Electric’s integrated water governance solution, the pollution and damage in the townships and rural areas caused by sewage to the surrounding environment and landscape are resolved, dramatically improving the hygiene standards of residents and the living environment.
Through the Digital & Intelligent Ecotechnology Information Monitoring Platform, the operation of sewage treatment sites in township and rural areas and supporting pipeline networks are monitored and managed in real time, with timely responses to problems occurring during operation and effective response and disposal through work order management, thus improving the intelligence level of water system operation and maintenance and the efficiency of water governance. The county’s water quality has been greatly improved.

The automated, intelligent digital supervision and operation platform is applicable to the operation and maintenance of sewage treatment facilities in villages and townships; while guaranteeing the operational efficiency, it substantially reduces the on-site control and maintenance of facilities and equipment and management personnel input, and solves the bottleneck that restricts the long-term management of sewage treatment in villages and towns. The treated wastewater from the sewage plants in villages and towns can be used as water for irrigation and industrial use, which is of great significance in saving valuable water resources, improving the regional investment climate and environment for tourism, as well as facilitating the overall development of economy, trade and tourism in Huaiyuan County.

The intelligent modular sewage treatment plant can be widely used in the long-term operation and management of domestic sewage treatment projects in villages and towns, which is currently under promotion by the state.
