Treatment Solutions of Leachate in Waste Power Generation Industry

With the increasingly severe environmental situation, the national and local pollutant discharge standards have been issued, and the pollutants discharged from the domestic garbage landfill have been especially restricted. The high concentration of organic pollutants, heavy metals, inorganic salts and other indicators in the leachate can no longer meet the requirements of the discharge standards through conventional treatment processes. Shanghai Electric optimizes the mature leachate treatment process, determines the main process combination according to the leachate quality characteristics and treatment requirements of the waste incineration plant, and provides the most optimized solution for the resource utilization of the waste leachate.

The domestic waste incineration and power generation phase II BOT project in a city in Jiangxi is designed with a rated waste treatment capacity of 300 tons per day, a leachate treatment capacity of 150m3/d.

1、 The organic matter and inorganic salt in the leachate are decomposed and separated by the integrated “physicochemical + biochemical” treatment process, which completely ensures that the effluent meets the discharge standards or meet the requirements of water reuse indicators;

2、Multi-stage membrane separation and concentration process is adopted to further improve the treatment effect of the system, and the wastewater recovery rate reaches more than 80%, which effectively ensures the separation of some residual organic compounds and inorganic salts in the wastewater;

3、The solution ensures that the treated sludge and concentrated liquid can meet the requirements of the garbage incinerator and realizes no solid waste discharge throughout the treatment process.
