The project owner is the Sri Lanka Power Authority (CEB), and CMEC is the general contractor of the 1×300MW coal-fired power station project. The project funds are provided by the Chinese government. Our company is responsible for the survey, design, supply, civil engineering, installation, commissioning, performance test, trial operation, owner training of the line and substation part until the project is handed over to the owner, and the relevant operation and maintenance work during the warranty period and corrosion period after the handover. The scope of the project includes: 1) new 220kV Veyangoda substation; 2) expansion of two 220kV line intervals of K station; 3) construction of a 220kV double-circuit double-bundle transmission line of Puttalam to Veyangoda substation with a total length of about 117km; 4) replacement of 17km overhead ground line from station V to station K
