Shanghai ALSTOM Transport Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to SATCO) is a joint venture invested by Shanghai Electric Transport Co., Ltd (“the Chinese Party”) and ALSTOM Transport (“the French Party”). SATCO is established in January, 1999 with a registered capital of 15 million USD, and the Chinese Party takes 60% of the whole stock.
SATCO is equipped with the capability of providing the customers with the latest-generation mass transit cars which can meet the requirements of the Chinese market. Besides introducing ALSTOM’s technology of METROPOLIS to manufacture Light Railways, SATCO also adopted the latest modularization design, through which the car types can be modularized according to customers’ requirements. Now SATCO’s industrial capability is 300 cars/ year. The company has been awarded the title of “Shanghai Excellent Enterprise” on end since 2005.

Shanghai ALSTOM Transport Electrical Equipment Co., LTD
Shanghai ALSTOM Transport Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to SATEE) is a joint venture invested by Shanghai Electric Transport Co., Ltd (“the Chinese Party”) and ALSTOM Transport (“the French Party”). SATEE is established in January, 1999 with a registered capital of 5 million USD, and the Chinese Party takes 40% of the whole stock.
SATEE’s primary task is to manufacture assembly and debugging various kinds of traction systems, auxiliary converters and relevant electrical equipment which can be applied to mass transit cars and providing customers with related maintenance support and after services.

Shanghai Electric Transport Platform Screen Door Engineering Company (PSD Engineering Company)
PSD Engineering Company specializes in the business of platform screen door design, installation and maintenance. By introducing and assimilating international advanced technology; the company has developed its own products with self intellectual property. Its PSD system for Shanghai Circus World Station of Shanghai Line 1 north extension has become the first demonstration project in Shanghai. In 2005, it completed successfully the manufacture and installment for Shanghai Line 4, and turned into the first company in China who had the capability of whole-line installment. And in 2006 it carried on the projects for Shanghai Line 6 and 8.
Till now, the company has become one of the important platform screen door and relevant products manufacturing bases and a leading enterprise in this business.
