Gas Turbines

Shanghai Electric is dedicated to developing Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power generation technology and has become the main equipment supplier for China’s first IGCC project ¬– the Hua Neng IGCC power station. All the supporting equipment for the IGCC power generation system is supplied by Shanghai Electric, including gasification furnaces, E-stage gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and other primary parts. The equipment is slated for delivery in 2010 and be put into operation by 2011.
Shanghai Electric is dedicated to importing, researching and ultimately independently manufacturing IGCC gas turbine and auxiliary parts. Shanghai Electric will soon reach a production capacity for 24 IGCC gas turbines per year.
